Women’s Super Discovery PLUS Sea Kayaking course

This Discovery PLUS course is designed to develop your exploration of sea kayaking through coaching and coastal journeys. Maybe you have previously dipped into the salty sea, or looking to transfer your acquired skills from another kayaking discipline.
Based on the NE coast of Anglesey, a fabulous 3 day Women’s Discover Development sea kayaking course, max 4 spaces. “Courses for women, by women”.
This Discovery PLUS course with Eila is suitable for paddlers with some foundation kayaking experience.
A top quality Sea Kayak and all the paddling equipment needed will be supplied for you- and where possible, it’s all manufactured in the UK. We can also kit you out in top of the range paddle suits and booties.
The course will look at further developing the Foundation skills you have, confidence and coastal exploring will form the basis of your sea kayak adventure. Learning how your kayak behaves add reacts in the wonderful Anglesey coast.
Priced at only £285 for the 3 days, which includes kayak, equipment plus Saturday evening meal “pie night” at our local pub (excludes drinks).

Available for the course – cosy hostel style accommodation (shared rooms with privacy) can be added from only £25 pppn. Please email for details. Van camping available.
Course price includes everything required for an adventurous 3 days plus even “pie night” – an evening meal (food only) at a local pub – (all dietary requirements catered for).
Please note, other than “pie night” food and refreshments are not included in this course.
Introductory - Discover Anglesey Sea Kayaking Course, Women Specific
3 Day Course to foundation sea kayaking skills and coastal exploration!
An excellent opportunity to start your entry into the sport of sea kayaking. We will meet in the morning and make a paddle plan for the day. You will be kitted out with all the gear, kayak and equipment needed for your sea kayak course. A sheltered bay will be our location to explore your skills whilst building confidence and gaining control of your sea kayak. After a picnic lunch (not provided) in a cove or bay we will explore the coast and have plenty of opportunity to further develop sea kayak skills. Each day afterwards we will progress your skills and technique through coaching sessions and coastal exploring. We will plan to visit sections of the beautiful Anglesey coast and local bays where you'll have the opportunity to further develop knowledge of the tides, weather and coast and understand how these factors affect us as sea kayakers. To maximise your enjoyment of the course you will have a relative degree of fitness and be comfortable sitting upright in your kayak (with legs in front of you, you can practice at home!). You should be confident in the water. Hostel cottage style accommodation with full kitchen facilities, is available for sea kayak courses, £25 pppn plus electricity contribution.
